Join Our Team of Disability Support Workers in Caboolture QLD – long shifts available and we’re building our roster now!
We’re looking for caring, dependable people who want to make a genuine difference.
In this role, you’ll support our female client with Schizoaffective manic type Disorder (hallucinations, paranoid ideations, significant social withdrawal, suicidal behaviours, deliberate self-harm, substance misuse) with daily tasks, community activities, and personal goals.
Daily Responsibilities:
Deliver person-centred support aligned with each participant’s NDIS goals
Assist with personal care, meal preparation, medication prompts, and household tasks
Implement Behaviour Support Plans and follow all NDIS practice standards
Provide calm, consistent support during periods of elevated energy or distress
Support community participation, transport, appointments, and skill-building activities
Maintain accurate progress notes,
incident reports, and shift documentation
Encourage independence, emotional regulation, and goal achievement
Qualifications & Requirements:
Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Disability, Mental Health, or Community Services
Demonstrated experience supporting clients with Schizoaffective Disorder (manic type)
First Aid & CPR certificate (current)
NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow card)
Working With Children Check (Blue card)
Valid Australian driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
Flexibility: Availability to work all shifts, including mornings, afternoons, nights, and sleepovers
