This is a Salaried Director role with a long-established, highly regarded Melbourne chartered accounting firm with a loyal, high-calibre private client base. The Directors are actively planning the firm's medium-term succession and are appointing a Salaried Director now to take on client leadership and be part of what comes next, with a credible pathway to equity within a realistic timeframe.
Key responsibilities
Take responsibility for an established portfolio of ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices and complex privately owned groups
Lead business services and advisory engagements, including compliance, structuring, tax and strategic advice for private groups
Act as the trusted adviser to business owners and families across their business and personal affairs
Work alongside the existing Directors on client strategy, team leadership and the development of the practice
Mentor and develop the next generation of the team
About you
Senior experience in business services advising private groups, family offices or entrepreneur-led businesses gained in a Big 4, mid-tier or a well-regarded boutique chartered accounting firm
Solid technical and commercial capability across compliance, structuring and advisory
Experience managing senior client relationships with confidence
CA ANZ membership
Tax Institute membership
An interest in growing a portfolio and building referral relationships
