Customer Service Officer
Location: Keswick, SA
Contract: 6 Months (with prospect for extension)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Hourly Rate: $60 - $61

Excel Recruitment is seeking a motivated and professional Customer Service Officer to join our client's team in Keswick. This phone-based role is perfect for someone who thrives in a customer-focused environment and excels in communication, problem solving, and delivering high-quality service with empathy and patience.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage a high volume of inbound customer calls with professionalism and efficiency
Provide accurate, timely information and solutions to customer enquiries
Navigate multiple systems and databases effectively
Demonstrate empathy, patience, and active listening in all interactions
Apply conflict-resolution skills to resolve challenging situations
Work collaboratively within a supportive, fast-paced team environment

Requirements:




Previous experience in customer service or call centre roles
Excellent communication skills with a explicit, professional phone manner
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex enquiries
Technical competency with multiple systems and databases
Demonstrated patience, resilience, and empathy
Energy sector experience is advantageous but not essential
Current driver's licence
