Goldy Caravans is seeking a skilled and reliable Cabinet Maker to join our team on a full time basis.
The successful applicant will be responsible for manufacturing, assembling and installing quality cabinetry and joinery components according to technical drawings, specifications and production requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret technical drawings, plans and specifications.
Measure, mark, cut and shape timber, manufactured boards and other materials.
Manufacture and assemble cabinetry, cupboards, drawers, shelving and other joinery components.
Operate woodworking machinery, power tools and hand tools safely and accurately.
Install hinges, handles, drawer runners and other cabinet hardware.
Fit and install cabinetry and joinery components as required.
Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy and compliance with specifications.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Skills and Experience
The successful applicant should have:
Relevant qualifications in cabinet making or demonstrated equivalent industry experience.
Practical experience in cabinet making, joinery or furniture manufacturing.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
Experience operating woodworking machinery and hand tools.
Positive attention to detail and workmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.
