Mechanical Fitter – Permanent Full time

Prime Recruitment is partnering with a well-established Australian engineering and manufacturing company specialising in heavy mechanical equipment and advanced workshop technology.

This is an opportunity for a qualified Mechanical Fitter to join an experienced workshop team, working with modern CNC machinery and a range of industrial equipment in a company that values quality workmanship, safety and continuous improvement.

The Role
Carry out planned and preventative maintenance on CNC and manual machinery.
Diagnose mechanical faults and perform breakdown repairs.
Service and maintain CNC lathes, milling machines and other workshop equipment.
Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Dismantle, inspect, repair and reassemble mechanical components.
Maintain high standards of safety, quality and workshop efficiency.

What We're Looking For




Australian-recognised trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter, Fitter-Machinist or Machine Tool Fitter.
Practical experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Background in manufacturing, engineering or heavy industrial environments.
Experience with CNC or manual machine tool maintenance is highly regarded.
A proactive approach to problem-solving, safety and teamwork.

What's on Offer?
Location: Kewdale, WA.
Excellent salary based on experience.
Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, plus overtime when available with applicable penalty rates.
