An established food manufacturer is seeking trade-qualified Process Technicians to operate and maintain automated packing equipment.
Three permanent positions are available, with one role on each shift: day, afternoon and night.
This hands-on prospect suits someone who enjoys taking ownership of equipment performance, solving problems and keeping production running efficiently.
The role:
Operate automated packing equipment to meet production and quality targets.
Complete equipment cleaning, inspections and lubrication.
Diagnose and resolve faults within your trade qualifications.
Investigate recurring issues and contribute to process improvements.
Follow food safety, HACCP and critical control point requirements.
What you’ll bring:
Certificate III in a Mechanical Trade and/or Electrotechnology,
with a current NSW electrical licence for electrical work.
Experience with automated food, beverage or FMCG production and packing lines.
Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with tools such as 5 Whys and fishbone analysis.
A practical approach and willingness to take responsibility for equipment operation and upkeep.
Availability to work weekends as part of a seven-day roster.
What’s on offer:
$45-$60 per hour + super, depending on skills and experience.
Shift loadings and weekend overtime.
