Casual AM/PM/Sleepover Shifts | Female Candidates Only

Amion Support Services is seeking a caring, reliable female support worker to support a female participant in her Supported Independent Living (SIL) home.

Available Shifts
Mondays, 9 am–3 pm: regular weekly shift.
Fridays, 9 am–3 pm: occasional relief shifts.
Afternoon shifts , 3 pm-9pm and sleepover: relief cover when required.

Monday availability and the ability to drive are essential. These shifts include community access, transport to medical appointments and in-home support. Availability for Friday and afternoon/sleepover cover is preferred.

About the Role
Assist with personal care, daily living tasks and household routines.
Drive and accompany the participant to medical appointments and community activities.
Support meaningful activities, including library visits, music and crafts.
Follow the participant’s Behaviour Support Plan and use positive, consistent support strategies.
Encourage choice, independence and confidence.
Provide medication support in accordance with training and the participant’s medication plan.
Complete accurate progress notes and incident reports.
Maintain qualified boundaries and communicate respectfully.

What We’re Looking For




Female support worker to provide personal care to a female participant.
Reliable attendance and commitment to the regular Monday shift.
A confident driver who is comfortable transporting the participant.
Explicit spoken and written English communication skills.
A patient, compassionate and friendly approach.
Ability to engage positively and respond calmly to distress.
Experience in SIL, mental health or behaviour support preferred.

What You Will Need
Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for transporting the participant.
Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support or equivalent, or currently working towards a relevant qualification.
NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Working with Children Check.
Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
NDIS Worker Orientation Module completion.
Medication support and manual handling training, or willingness to complete required training.
