About the role

As part of the leadership team, you will oversee daily shift operations, run designated restaurant areas, and drive performance toward key targets set by the Restaurant Manager. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth store operations, delivering outstanding QSC&V; (Quality, Service, Cleanliness & Value), driving sales, managing profitability, and fostering strong people practices across the business.

Key responsibilities
Manage people, product, and equipment to achieve optimum business results
Oversee effective kitchen production, maintain equipment safety and functionality, ensure daily/planned maintenance schedules are met, and keep all areas compliant with health and safety regulations
Select, train, coach, and supervise kitchen and front-of-house staff
Delegate tasks, monitor progress, build skills, and manage individual and department performance through effective communication
Handle financial transactions, oversee P&L;, monitor budgets, analyze metrics, project sales, and build business growth plans
Monitor stock levels, handle reordering, troubleshoot stock variances and invoice discrepancies
Plan and execute promotions, analyze customer trends, and drive local restaurant marketing strategies




Manage rosters and scheduling, resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly
Enforce compliance with employment legislation and HR practices

About you
Previous McDonald's management experience with minimum LTS Verification (DLM preferred for Department Managers; LT required for Overnight Managers)
Exceptional training abilities, solid interpersonal skills, and effective communication across all team levels
Resourcefulness, adaptability, and an ability to think on your feet in a rapid-paced environment
Must be available 7 days a week / 24 hours a day, including weekdays, weekends, overnights, and public holidays
Relevant AQF (or equivalent) Certificate II PLUS at least 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience (minimum 20+ hours per week), OR Relevant AQF (or equivalent) Certificate III PLUS at least 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience (minimum 20+ hours per week), OR At least 4 years of relevant industry experience (full time, no less than 38 hours per week)

Pay: $71,500.00 – $80,000.00 per year
