Female Disability Support Workers – Pakenham | Mental Health & Trauma-Informed Support

Pacific Home Care Solutions is a registered NDIS provider seeking experienced female Disability Support Workers to join a consistent support team for a participant based in Pakenham, VIC.

The participant requires support 7 days per week, across two shifts:

9:00 am – 3:00 pm

3:00 pm – 9:00 pm

We are looking for workers who are confident, engaging and able to build genuine rapport while maintaining solid skilled boundaries. Experience supporting people with complex mental health needs, trauma/CPTSD or psychosocial disability will be highly regarded.

The right person will be confident advocating alongside the participant when required, have a outstanding sense of humour, communicate clearly in English, and understand that they are working within the participant’s home and must respect her belongings, privacy, routines and personal boundaries.

The participant has an assistance dog who is a working assistance animal, not a pet.



Applicants must be comfortable around dogs and able to follow the participant’s directions regarding appropriate interaction with the assistance dog.

The role may include: community access and appointments, social and emotional support, assistance with daily living activities, advocacy and communication support, and supporting the participant to maintain independence and choice.

Applicants should have relevant disability/mental-health experience, NDIS Worker Screening Check, current First Aid/CPR, driver’s licence and reliable vehicle, and appropriate working rights.

Location: Pakenham VIC

Hours: Multiple shifts available; ongoing roster

Availability: Morning and afternoon/evening availability highly regarded
