Our client is seeking a motivated Valve Assembly Operator to join their workshop team based in Wangara.
This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for assembling, testing and inspecting valve and flow control equipment, while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and productivity.
Responsibilities
Assemble and test valves, actuators, positioners and associated flow control equipment
Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and work instructions
Conduct inspections, testing and basic fault-finding to ensure products meet quality standards
Safely operate workshop equipment, hand tools, power tools and lifting equipment
Complete quality, testing and production documentation accurately
Assist with stock control and inventory processes where required
Maintain a safe, clean and organised workshop workplace
Your Profile
Previous experience in mechanical assembly, maintenance, repair or testing of industrial equipment
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
Experience using hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment safely
Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
Current Forklift Licence
Desirable
Mechanical trade qualification or equivalent industry experience
Experience working with valves, actuators, pumps or other industrial process equipment
Exposure to manufacturing, maintenance, service or workshop environments
Stable full time prospect with an established industry leader
