Flow Tech Australia – Administration Support Officer (Marine Engineering | Defence & Commercial)

Flow Tech Australia Pty Ltd is a leading marine engineering provider supporting Royal Australian Navy vessels and major commercial fleets across Sydney, Perth, Darwin and Cairns, Adelaide. With continued growth across our national operations, we are seeking a dedicated Administration Officer to join our team.

This full‑time position is based in Henderson, WA, working closely with our business unit managers and team, Defence teams to ensure seamless administrative, compliance and project support.

About the Role

The Administration Support Officer will provide high‑level administrative, compliance and coordination support to our marine engineering business, including:
Assisting with Defence‑aligned documentation, access applications and compliance requirements
Coordinating project paperwork, job packs, work instructions and vessel service records
Managing timesheets
Maintaining registers for licences, inductions, certifications and security clearances
Supporting procurement, purchase orders, supplier communication and inventory tracking
Preparing qualified correspondence, reports and internal communications
Providing general office administration, scheduling and team support





What We’re Looking For
Strong administrative experience, ideally within Defence, marine, engineering or technical environments
High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism
Excellent communication skills and a proactive, organised approach
Competence in Microsoft Office and general business systems
Ability to work in a quick‑paced environment with shifting priorities
Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
Australian citizenship (required for Defence access)

Pay: $36.00 – $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38.0 per week

Experience:
Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Preferred)
Marine: 1 year (Preferred)
