Sensible Care is looking for a caring, reliable, and experienced Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support a client in Mount Barker, South Australia.
This is a great opportunity for a PCA who enjoys providing personalised, respectful, and practical support to clients in their own homes.
The available shifts are approximately:
Tuesday: 2 hours
Wednesday: 3 hours
Friday: 2 hours
Start times are adaptable and can be scheduled anytime after 10:00 am.
What You'll Be Doing
Provide personal care assistance according to the client's needs
Support with daily living activities and personal routines
Provide companionship and respectful social support
Assist with light household tasks as required
Support the client to maintain their independence and wellbeing
Follow the client's care plan and support requirements
Observe and report any changes in the client's needs or wellbeing
Complete required care documentation
Communicate respectfully with the client, family, and Sensible Care team
Follow health, safety, and infection-control requirements
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA)
or in aged care, disability, or community care
Holds a relevant Individual Support, Aged Care, or equivalent qualification
Has experience providing personal care
Has good English communication skills
Is caring, patient, reliable, and respectful
Is comfortable providing support in a client's home
Is available to work on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
Can accommodate adaptable start times after 10:00 am
Holds a current Australian driver's licence
Has comprehensive car insurance and access to a reliable vehicle
