VICNA, a leading nursing agency, is seeking caring and reliable Personal Care Assistants for casual shifts in Torquay, VIC. You will have the freedom to choose your working hours and locations.

Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality personal care and support to elderly individuals in residential aged care facilities
Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, and mobility
Support residents' comfort, dignity, and independence
Monitor and report changes in a resident's health or behaviour to the nurse in charge
Follow infection control standards and Australian Aged Care regulations
Maintain accurate documentation of resident care
Communicate respectfully with residents, their families, and the care team
Use email, smartphones, and basic computer software (Microsoft)

Requirements:
Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care, or equivalent
Valid NDIS Clearance
Current Manual Handling Training certification
Current CPR (1 year) and First Aid (up to 3 years) certifications
Positive understanding of Infection Control Standards in Australian Aged Care




Familiarity with the recent Aged Care Standards, including SIRS, is desirable
Must have the right to work in Australia
Must have 1 to 2 years of experience in Australia
