Batchfire Resources is the owner of Callide Mine in Central Queensland, an open-cut coal operation located 120km southwest of Gladstone and 20km northeast of the thriving regional township of Biloela. The mine has operated since 1944 producing coal primarily for domestic power generation, alumina refining and export markets.

The role of the Human Resources Advisor presents an exciting career opportunity for an experienced HR professional to deliver a range of HR Services.
While this is a generalist role, there is a strong focus on the end-to-end recruitment process including consulting with stakeholders, development of PDs, the interview process, and onboarding new starters.
Reporting to the Senior HR Advisor, this is a permanent, full time position working Monday - Friday at Callide Mine near Biloela.
This is a residential role and no FIFO will be offered.
Who are we looking for?
To be successful in this role it is desirable to have a tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline, alternatively having significant relevant experience. Your key attributes will include a systematic approach to your work, solid communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to build positive relationships with key stakeholders. Resources industry experience would be advantageous.
In this role, you will contribute to the development, implementation and review of HR systems and processes. You will maintain the HR policy framework ensuring legislative and EA compliance and also prepare HR reports and maintain employee records.
