The Role As a Heavy Duty Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing and repairing heavy mobile plant to ensure equipment reliability, safety and operational performance across site.
Key responsibilities include:
Performing preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing.
Diagnosing faults and carrying out mechanical repairs.
Completing breakdown maintenance and troubleshooting equipment issues.
Identifying and replacing faulty components.
Ensuring equipment is maintained to a high standard to maximise availability.
Following site safety procedures and maintenance standards.
Completing maintenance documentation accurately and efficiently.
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
An Australian-recognised mechanical trade qualification.
Experience working on heavy mobile mining equipment in a surface mining environment.
Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Experience with preventative and breakdown maintenance.
Excellent communication skills.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A solid commitment to workplace health and safety.
