Responsibilities include but not limited to;
Perform Pre-Starts on company vehicles
Replace windscreens and body glass on cars, trucks, buses and earthmoving machines
Replace fixed, float and laminated glass
Repair chipped windscreens
Ensure equipment, materials and areas of operation comply with all regulations and requirements
Ship and receive inventory, examine received inventory for quality control
Provide exceptional customer service to every customer, every time
Workshop housekeeping including; Cleaning benches, restock bench consumables, sweep workshop floor, disposal of rubbish, replace tools
Forklift Operation (only if ticketed)
Attend and participate in meetings as required
Work in accordance with the HSEQ guidelines policies, procedures and to work in a secure manner at all times while conducting tasks for Midwest Windscreens.
Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol screening, Police Clearance and Pre-Employment Medical
Skills and Experience
At least 3 years of relevant industry experience
Ability to work in a quick-paced setting and under pressure
Excellent time management
Physical Requirements: lifting and carrying on average 15kg, standing, bending, long periods of time on your feet
