The Registrar will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all academic and student-related matters, including registration, enrollment, graduation, and transcripts. They will develop and recommend academic policies and procedures, collaborate with academic departments, manage course evaluations, and ensure compliance with institutional policies and regulations. The Registrar will also oversee the preparation of academic documents and develop and maintain a student information system.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate academic and student records
Develop and recommend academic policies and procedures
Collaborate with academic departments to develop and maintain course schedules and catalogs
Manage course evaluations and surveys
Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate student enrollment and billing
Serve as the primary point of contact for students, faculty, and staff regarding academic policies and procedures
Oversee the preparation of academic documents
Ensure compliance with institutional policies and regulations
Develop and maintain a student information system
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s degree preferred
3+ years of experience in an academic setting, preferably in student records or academic administration
Robust understanding of academic policies and procedures, as well as federal and state laws relating to student records and privacy
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students
Proficiency in database management and reporting tools
Solid attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Familiarity with student information systems (SIS) and other academic software applications
