We are seeking a passionate and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our specialist periodontal practice on a part-time basis (1–2 days per week). This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a dedicated periodontist and contribute to providing exceptional care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive dental hygiene services, including scaling and root debridement, for patients on periodontal maintenance (SPT) and review appointments.
Provide tailored oral hygiene education and preventative care strategies to patients.
Collaborate closely with the periodontist to deliver high-quality care plans and ongoing periodontal management.
Maintain accurate and thorough clinical records in accordance with practice protocols and professional standards.
Ensure all infection control protocols are strictly followed.
Offer a welcoming and empathetic patient experience to foster trust and compliance.

Requirements:
Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Dental Hygiene or Oral Health Therapy.
Registration:



Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Dental Hygienist or Oral Health Therapist.
Experience: Prior experience in periodontal care or working under a periodontist is highly desirable.
Skills:
Excellent manual dexterity and clinical skills in periodontal procedures.
Robust interpersonal and communication skills to educate and motivate patients.
A team player with a patient-centered approach to care.
