Rug Junction is a well-established rug retailer with a proud history dating back to 1980, and the current owners have successfully operated the business since 1994.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and motivated person to join our team and learn all aspects of the business, with the potential opportunity to take over and own the business within 3–5 years.
The Prospect
This is more than just a retail position. It is an prospect for the right person to learn an established business from the ground up, develop strong customer and supplier relationships, and eventually take on ownership.
The role requires someone with :
A genuine interest in retail, interiors and customer service
Excellent communication skills
Be motivated to learn and grow with the business
Desirable qualities:
Knowledge of rugs, flooring and interior styling
-Understanding of ordering, stock management, sales and day-to-day business operations
-Previous retail or sales experience is preferred,



but attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn are most important.
During the transition to full ownership you will have the chance to work closely with the current owner, who will provide training and guidance.

The current owner is looking for someone who is interested in building a long-term future with Rug Junction, with the potential to take over the established business in approximately 3–5 years.
