Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Boilermaker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing boilers, tanks, and other vessels used to store and process liquids and gases. The Boilermaker will work with a variety of materials, including steel, aluminum, and copper, and will use a range of tools and equipment to complete their work.

Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and assembly of boilers, tanks, and other vessels
Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using a variety of tools and equipment, including hand and power tools, welding equipment, and cutting torches
Fabricate and assemble metal parts, using welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
Install and repair boilers, tanks, and other vessels, including attaching valves, fittings, and other components




Test and inspect completed work to ensure that it meets quality and safety standards
Maintain and repair existing boilers, tanks, and other vessels as needed
Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as electricians and pipefitters, to complete projects

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a formal apprenticeship program or equivalent experience
Robust knowledge of welding, brazing, and soldering techniques
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Familiarity with a variety of hand and power tools
Solid attention to detail and ability to work with precision
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Valuable communication and interpersonal skills
