About the role:
In this hands-on role, you will assist in the day-to-day operation and maintenance of Burke Shire’s water and wastewater treatment plants. You’ll play a critical part in ensuring secure, reliable water services by:
• Monitoring plant performance, recording and reporting test results
• Collecting water and wastewater samples for analysis
• Operating treatment plant equipment and applying protected chemical handling
• Supporting compliance with health, environmental, and regulatory standards
You’ll also contribute to continuous improvement by identifying issues and assisting with fault-finding and corrective actions.
