We are seeking a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods to customers in a timely and productive manner. The Delivery Driver will be required to operate a delivery vehicle, maintain accurate records of deliveries, and ensure that all deliveries are made in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Operate a delivery vehicle in a secure and efficient manner
Deliver goods to customers in a timely and effective manner
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately and on time
Ensure that all deliveries are made in accordance with company policies and procedures
Communicate with customers in a skilled and courteous manner
Assist with loading and unloading of goods as required
Perform routine vehicle maintenance and ensure that the vehicle is kept clean and tidy
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
Ability to operate a delivery vehicle in a safe and efficient manner
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to lift and carry heavy items
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance
