Our Lady of Consolation Aged Care & Services is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to enhancing the lives of older Australians through innovative and evidence-based care. Our Get Yourself Moving programs support older individuals in Western Sydney, enabling them to maintain independence and improve their quality of life.

Role Overview

As a Physiotherapist , you will collaborate with a skilled team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, exercise physiologists, and sports scientists to deliver high-quality care and rehabilitation services. Your expertise will contribute to structured programs designed to improve residents’ mobility, functionality, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities

Working within our state-of-the-art facility , which includes a fully equipped gymnasium and modern treatment rooms , your responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of current and existing residents within our aged care facility.
Developing and delivering individual and group exercise programs focused on mobility and strength.
Implementing targeted interventions for residents with chronic health conditions.




Designing restorative programs to support functional recovery and independence.
Facilitating an innovative restorative respite program to assist individuals in regaining mobility before returning home.
Providing effective pain management strategies tailored to residents’ needs.

Candidates must meet the following criteria:
Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy, with demonstrated post-degree experience.
Current registration with AHPRA.
Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Interest in innovative aged care programs and rehabilitative strategies.
Experience in aged care is highly desirable.
