ROLE – Senior Civil Engineer

SALARY - $160,000 - $200,000 per annum, dependent on experience

TYPE – Permanent

LOCATION – Perth, WA

My client is a leading engineering consultancy delivering specialist solutions across the mining sector. They are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join their growing team in Perth.

The Senior Civil Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
At least 5 years of experience in a Civil Engineering, Design Engineering, or similar role
Solid experience working on land development, civil infrastructure, mining or resources projects
Robust understanding of drainage design and experience working through drainage calculations
Experience with earthworks, roads, stormwater, drainage, bulk earthworks or similar civil infrastructure
Experience producing civil designs, engineering drawings, calculations and technical documentation
Ideally have experience using civil design and/or 3D modelling software
Experience working through projects from concept and detailed design through to construction
Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering discipline
Strong technical, project coordination and problem-solving skills




Solid communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary engineering team

The Senior Civil Engineer role will involve:
Producing concept designs, detailed engineering drawings, civil layouts and technical documentation
Working on land development, drainage, earthworks, roads and other civil infrastructure projects
Undertaking and reviewing drainage calculations and hydraulic design
Developing civil designs and solutions for mining, resources and infrastructure projects
Preparing and reviewing engineering calculations, reports and technical documentation
Working collaboratively with clients, contractors, suppliers and internal engineering teams
Providing technical engineering support across design, procurement and construction
Coordinating project activities to ensure programmes, budgets and quality requirements are achieved
Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers and designers
Working within a cooperative engineering consultancy on a variety of mining and resources projects
