CrewSELECT is seeking experienced Trade Qualified Mechanical Fitters to join a leading heavy engineering workshop in Brendale.
You’ll be working on the overhaul, rebuild and refurbishment of heavy industrial equipment used throughout the mining, energy and resources sectors. This is hands-on mechanical work suited to Fitters who enjoy stripping equipment down, finding the problem and rebuilding it properly.
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
$55.60–$59.21/hr + penalties, depending on experience

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Strip, inspect, repair and rebuild heavy industrial equipment
Overhaul pumps, valves, gearboxes and rotating equipment
Complete repairs and refurbishment of crushers and fixed plant
Diagnose wear,
faults and mechanical issues during strip-downs
Work from engineering drawings, specifications and quality requirements
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Australian-recognised Mechanical Fitter trade qualification
Strong mechanical rebuild, overhaul or refurbishment experience
Experience with pumps, valves, gearboxes and/or rotating equipment
Heavy industrial, mining or fixed-plant maintenance background
Solid commitment to safety, quality and producing work you’re proud of
