Benchmark Painting Pty Ltd is a well-established commercial painting company delivering projects across Perth in the commercial, industrial and government sectors.
We're looking for an organised and proactive Administration Officer to become a valued member of our small, friendly team. If you enjoy variety, like taking ownership of your work and thrive in a fast-paced office, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing
Your role will include a variety of administrative duties, including:
General office administration
Data entry and maintaining accurate company records
Updating registers, spreadsheets and databases
Answering and directing incoming phone calls
Managing emails and general correspondence
Assisting with social media content and company updates
Filing and document control
Providing administrative support to management
Assisting with day-to-day office operations as required
No two days are the same, so we're looking for someone who is adaptable, organised and enjoys being part of a busy small business.
About you
You'll ideally have:
Previous administration experience (2+ years preferred)
Experience working in a small business environment
Excellent organisational and time management skills
High attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word and Excel)
The ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Highly regarded but not essential:
Experience with Xero
Experience in the construction industry
Experience maintaining compliance documentation, registers or project records
Experience managing company social media platforms
