We are seeking an experiencedQualified Diesel Mechanic to join our workshop team at our Wingfield facility. This is anautonomous, hands-on role working on a modern fleet of heavy vehicles, reporting directly to theWorkshop PM Shift Supervisor .
About the Role
You will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of heavy on-road trucks, ensuring all work meets safety, quality, and NHVR compliance standards. The role suits a self-motivated mechanic with strong diagnostic capability and experience working independently.
You will work across a fleet that includesVolvo, Scania, Iveco, and Isuzu vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, service, and repair heavy on-road trucks
Perform mechanical fault finding and breakdown repairs
Ensure compliance with NHVR and safety standards
Work with hydraulic and CANbus systems
Maintain accurate service and repair records
CurrentHR Licence
Robust diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Sound knowledge of NHVR standards
Auto electrical knowledge
Experience in the waste industry
Exposure to hydraulics and CANbus systems
