We're seeking an experienced Surfacing Foreperson to lead a high-performing crew delivering asphalt, chipseal, paving, reseal and road maintenance projects. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys being out on site, supporting their team, operating plant when required, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

About the Role

As Surfacing Foreperson, you'll oversee daily surfacing operations, coordinate crews, manage resources, and maintain strong safety and quality standards across a range of civil infrastructure projects. Working closely with supervisors, project managers, subcontractors, and clients, you'll play a key role in delivering projects on time and exceeding customer expectations.

Duties
Lead and coordinate surfacing crews onsite
Plan daily work programmes and allocate resources
Operate surfacing plant and equipment as required




Monitor productivity, quality and project outcomes
Promote and enforce health and safety standards

Skills & Experience
Surfacing, asphalt or road maintenance experience
Proven leadership experience in civil construction
Robust planning and problem-solving ability
Class 2 Licence and WTR endorsement required
Class 4 Licence advantageous
