An established and growing FMCG company is seeking an experienced Head of FP&A; to join its finance leadership team on an initial 12-month contract.

Operating across multiple sites, the business is complex, fast-paced and commercially focused, with a strong growth agenda. This is a key role within the finance function, providing significant exposure to senior leadership and the Board.

Position

Reporting to the CFO, the Head of FP&A; will lead the financial planning, performance analysis and commercial finance function, providing forward-looking insight to support business performance and strategic decision-making. Leading a small team key responsibilities will include:
Lead group budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning
Prepare high-quality Board reporting and substantial Board packs
Develop scenario analysis, financial models and forward-looking forecasts
Provide commercial analysis and insight to senior stakeholders
Partner with operational and commercial teams to drive improved performance
Support strategic initiatives, investment decisions and business planning
Improve FP&A; reporting,



dashboards and financial modelling.

Profile

You will be an experienced FP&A; leader with robust technical capability, commercial judgement and the ability to operate at both a strategic and hands-on level.

You will ideally bring:
Significant FP&A;, commercial finance or corporate finance experience
Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling capability
Experience preparing Board and executive-level reporting
Advanced Excel and Power BI skills
Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering skills
A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to enhance systems, processes and reporting
CA/CPA or equivalent professional qualification
