Description

We are looking for a reliable, friendly and experienced Sales Assistant to join our team at a convenience store.

The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys working with customers, has a strong work ethic and can work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment.

Requirements
Minimum 3 years’ customer service experience
Must have weekend availability
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Reliable, punctual and well-presented
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment
Previous convenience store, retail or hospitality experience is highly regarded
Barista experience is preferred but not essential

Key Responsibilities
Providing friendly and professional customer service
Operating the POS and handling cash and EFTPOS transactions




Restocking shelves and maintaining product displays
Checking product dates and maintaining stock rotation
Keeping the store clean, organised and presentable
Assisting customers with product enquiries
Following store procedures and maintaining a high standard of service
