Description

We are looking for an experienced Sales Assistant / Barista to join our team at a busy convenience store and cafe.

This is a weekend-only position, with the potential to pick up additional shifts during the week when required.

Requirements
Minimum 3 years of customer service experience
Previous barista experience is essential
Must be available to work every weekend
Ability to make quality coffee efficiently and consistently
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Reliable, punctual and well presented
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous retail, convenience store or hospitality experience is highly regarded
Adaptable availability to cover additional weekday shifts when required

Key Responsibilities
Preparing and serving coffee to a high standard
Providing friendly and qualified customer service




Operating POS and handling cash and EFTPOS transactions
Restocking shelves and maintaining displays
Checking product dates and rotating stock
Keeping the cafe and store clean, organised and presentable
Assisting customers with product enquiries
Following store procedures and maintaining a high standard of service
