We're looking for an experienced Cook to join the Popeye's team. What you'll be doing
You'll be hands-on preparing and cooking fish and chips and other takeaway menu items, with a strong focus on fryer operations, seafood preparation and maintaining consistent quality during busy service periods.
You'll manage your preparation,
monitor cooking times and ensure orders are completed accurately and efficiently. Working closely with the team, you'll help maintain a clean, organised kitchen while following food safety and handling standards.
What we're looking for
Previous experience working as a Cook in a commercial kitchen or takeaway food outlet
Experience preparing and cooking seafood, particularly fish and chips, highly regarded
Confidence operating commercial fryers and managing multiple orders
Ability to work efficiently in a busy, high-volume food service environment
Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and safe food handling
Good organisation, attention to detail and a positive team-focused attitude
Flexibility to work a rotating roster based on operational requirements
