Bricklayer's Labourer | Newcastle & Hunter | Full time, wages
We're Auswide Building & Masonry, a bricklaying crew out of Newcastle. We've got six crews going on houses, schools and commercial jobs, and we need another labourer.
What you'll be doing
Mixing mud and keeping the brickies in bricks, blocks and mortar
Setting up in the morning and packing up in the arvo
Cutting bricks and blocks [once we've shown you how]
Keeping the site tidy and protected
Loading and unloading materials and gear
What you'll need
White Card
Licence and a car that gets you to site around Newcastle, the Hunter and the Central Coast
To turn up on time, every day
To be right with hard physical work, early starts and being outside all day
To be OK getting a police check and Working With Children Check, because a lot of our work is on schools
If you've laboured for brickies before, excellent. If you haven't, don't let that stop you. We can teach you the job.
