With ambitious growth plans and a strong track record of success, they are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to help strengthen their group reporting function.
Based in South Melbourne, this role sits with the core function of the business.

While the role sits close to senior leadership and offers exposure to the executive team and founder, the day to day is genuinely hands on, BAU focused work: consolidations, reconciliations and the detail that keeps the numbers right.
It suits someone who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves and who brings both technical rigour and the emotional intelligence to work well across a relationship driven business.What You'll Be DoingLeading the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual statutory reports, and managing group consolidations end to endMaintaining reconciliations and audit ready documentation across the groupSafeguarding the integrity of ledger transactions, resolving accounting issues and strengthening controls and governanceCoordinating audits, identifying control gaps and driving improvements to support statutory obligationsTaking ownership of complex issues, getting to the root cause and following through to a sustainable fixBuilding trusted relationships with the CFO, executive team and senior stakeholders, knowing when to advocate for change and when to work within established ways of doing thingsWhat Success Looks LikeReporting that stands up to scrutiny, consolidations that run smoothly, clean audit outcomes, controls that hold, and a CFO who can rely on you to see things through.What We're Looking ForTechnically strong, ideally with a Big 4 audit backgroundCA or CPA qualified (or equivalent), with solid experience across statutory reporting, group consolidations and external audit managementA track record working within complex, multi entity organisationsStrong stakeholder engagement skills and genuine emotional intelligence, with the ability to read the room and adapt your approach across a range of personalities and seniority levelsInternal audit experience would be highly regardedWhy ApplyJoin a growing, well established business at a genuinely pivotal time, in a role offering real exposure to senior leadership while you build deep technical expertise in a hands on, high trust environment.
