Job Description n
n
Reading engineering drawings to guide the machining process to repair/adjust the specific component.
n
Setting up and operating manual machinery including lathes, milling, drilling, boring and grinding machines.
n
Working to exact specifications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to tolerances using measuring tools like calipers and micrometres.
n
Develop solutions to allow workshop teams to overcome immediate challenges by proposing,
designing and producing basic, tooling and tooling modifications.

Essential
Experience/Skills/Qualifications
n
n
Time served apprenticed trained or relevant qualification.
n
Extensive experience using and setting manual machining equipment.
n
Ability to interpret engineering drawings in both metric and imperial.
n
