Scopeof the roleQELead Operates at the triad level, not only at a squad level.
They are expectedto support multiple squads (Withinor outside of the triad) and lead quality outcomes beyond an individual squad.
KeyResponsibilities-define and drive the quality strategy for the triad inalignmentwith Digital quality goals-establish and embed consistent standards for testapproach,automation, coverage, and release qualityacrosssquads-lead E2E test strategy, planning, coordination, andexecutionfor initiatives that span multiple squads,domains,platforms, or external teams-drive stronger collaboration between QEs anddevelopersto support shift-left testing and sharedownershipof quality-ensure quality is considered early through bettertestability,acceptance criteria, and design collaboration-provide leadership on automation direction across web,app,API etc.-ensure accessibility testing and visual regressionapproachesare appropriately considered for customer-facingweb and app experiences-identify capability, tooling, standards, and process gapsanddefine improvement actions-coach and mentor Senior QEs and QEs across the triadormultiple squads-provide clear stakeholder communication on risks,dependencies,coverage, and readiness-work with delivery, engineering,



product, and externalteamsto coordinate cross-functional testing activity-contribute to triad/stream-level quality governance andcontinuousimprovement-manage dependencies, risks, and defect triage activities-provide clear input into release readinessExperience,Skills and Qualifications-Significant relevant quality engineering experience,includingleadership across multiple squads, streams,orproduct areas in a digital workplace.
-Strong experience shaping quality strategy, automationdirection,and standards adoption across teams.
-Demonstrated experience leading complex E2Einitiativesthat require cross-team coordination andstakeholdermanagement.
-Strong knowledge of web, app, API delivery qualitychallenges,including accessibility testing and visualregressionfor customer-facing experiences.
-Strong API testing knowledge and experience drivingadoptionof API-first testing practices.
-Strong communication, influencing, facilitation, andmentoringcapability.AIand Tooling Expectations-Defines how approved AI tooling should be used withinthetriad to improve quality engineering outcomes.
-Drives adoption of effective AI-assisted practices for testdesign,automation acceleration, defect analysis, andqualityinsight.
-Sets expectations for review, traceability, security, andresponsibleuse of AI-generated artefacts.
-Identifies triad-level opportunities to improve qualityengineeringefficiency and consistency through AI-enabledapproaches.
