We're offering an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Manager to join our Front Office leadership team.Perfectly positioned in the heart of Darling Harbour, the hotel blends its **** industrial heritage with modern design, pop-art influences, and a warm, story-driven guest experience.Originally built as one of Sydney's historic wool stores, this beautifully restored five-storey sandstone and brick building now features 90 individually designed guestrooms, a celebrated neighbourhood restaurant and bar, and flexible event spaces that attract both local and international guests.As part of Accor's Handwritten Collection, we are passionate about creating memorable, meaningful stays through personalised service and genuine hospitality.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a motivated and service-driven Duty Manager to join our Front Office leadership team at Hotel Woolstore ****.This part-time role offers a dynamic mix of front office operations and reservations responsibilities — ideal for a hospitality skilled who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-first environment.
You will be a key leader on shift, ensuring smooth daily operations while supporting the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences from reservation through to departure.In this role, you will:Lead daily hotel operations as shift leader, ensuring seamless service across all guest touchpointsSupport, coach,
and guide the Front Office team to consistently deliver high standards of hospitalityManage guest feedback and service recovery with professionalism and careOversee reservations, ensuring accuracy and supporting revenue performanceFoster strong communication and collaboration across all departmentsContribute to a positive, engaged, and supportive team cultureAssist with rostering, operational planning, and ongoing team developmentProvide adaptable support across departments as required to ensure smooth hotel-wide operationsQualificationsWe're looking for someone who brings:2–4 years' experience in hotel operations with proven leadership capabilityA genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiencesStrong communication skills with the ability to build rapport at all levelsA calm, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach in a fast-paced environmentWorking knowledge of hotel systems (Opera Cloud or similar PMS preferred)Availability to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends, and public holidaysAdditional InformationWhy work for Accor?
