This is an excellent prospect for someone with transport coordination, logistics, or scheduling experience to join a well-established business with a strong local team culture.About the RoleReporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating daily transport activities, ensuring customer deliveries are planned efficiently, completed on time, and meet the highest standards of safety and service.Working closely with drivers, customers, production, and warehouse teams, you will play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate daily delivery schedules and transport activitiesPlan and allocate deliveries to ensure efficient use of vehicles and driversCommunicate with customers regarding delivery requirements and updatesLiaise with drivers to manage priorities, changes, and delivery issuesCoordinate loading schedules with production and warehouse teamsMonitor delivery progress and resolve issues as they ariseEnsure delivery documentation and records are completed accuratelySupport compliance with Chain of Responsibility (COR) requirementsAssist with driver scheduling, vehicle coordination,



and transport administrationMaintain accurate transport records and reportingSupport continuous improvement initiatives across transport and logistics operationsAbout YouYou are a highly organised and solutions-focused individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced operational environment.You'll bring:Previous experience in transport coordination, logistics, dispatch, or schedulingStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing prioritiesExcellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationshipsConfidence coordinating drivers and working with internal teamsGood understanding of transport operations and delivery processesStrong attention to detail and accurate administration skillsAbility to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environmentA strong commitment to safety and customer serviceExperience within manufacturing, building products, steel, or construction-related industries will be highly regarded.Why Join Metroll?
