This full-time position is based at our Acacia Ridge facility and will involve managing the production schedule to optimise workflow output, minimise waste, and meet customer demands.What you'll be doingDevelop and maintain production schedules to meet customer orders and delivery timelinesCollaborate with the production team to identify and resolve any scheduling conflicts or bottlenecksMonitor production progress and make adjustments to the schedule as needed to maintain efficiencyCommunicate regularly with sales, customer service,



and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely updatesAnalyse production data to identify opportunities for process improvements and increased productivitySupport the implementation of current systems and technologies to enhance the scheduling and planning functionWhat we're looking forMinimum 3 years of experience in a production scheduling or planning role, preferably in a continuous manufacturing industryExperience scheduling production for multiple production sites an advantageCandidates with single-site production scheduling experience will also be consideredStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills to quickly identify and resolve scheduling issuesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsProficiency in using production scheduling software (Pronto) and other relevant toolsPronto software experience preferred but not essentialAbility to work well under pressure and adapt to changing prioritiesTertiary qualification in a relevant field such as operations management, industrial engineering, or logisticsWhat we offerAt Metecno PIR, we are committed to providing our employees with a rewarding, stimulating and supportive work environment.
