Sewer Surgeon is a well-established plumbing company based in Strathfield South, NSW, specialising in plumbing maintenance, blocked drains, CCTV inspections, high-pressure water jetting, drainage repairs and pipe relining.

We're looking for a
3rd Year Plumbing Apprentice
who has developed solid experience in construction plumbing but is now looking to broaden their skills and move into
maintenance, drainage and specialist plumbing work
.

If you're confident with rough-ins and stacks but want to become a more well-rounded plumber, this could be a great next step.
About the Role n
n
This is a full-time position where you'll work alongside experienced plumbers across a wide range of residential, commercial and strata maintenance work.
n
We're not expecting you to already know everything about drainage.
n
What we are looking for is someone with good construction plumbing fundamentals who is keen to learn how to properly diagnose, repair and maintain plumbing and drainage systems.
n
You'll gain hands‐on experience in:

General plumbing maintenance and repairs
n
n
Diagnosing plumbing faults and finding solutions
n
n
Blocked sewer and stormwater drains
n
n
High-pressure water jetting
n
n
CCTV drain inspections
n
n
Sewer and stormwater repairs
n
n
Excavation and drainage installations
n
n
Pipe relining and trenchless pipe rehabilitation
n
n
Robotic cutting and specialised drainage equipment
n
n
n
n
Working directly with customers, strata managers and property managers
n
n
The goal is to help you become a plumber who can confidently
diagnose a problem,
understand why it has happened and know how to fix it properly
.
What We're Looking For n
n
We're looking for a 3rd Year Plumbing Apprentice who:
n
n
n
Has valuable experience in construction plumbing
n
n
Is competent completing rough‐ins
n
n
Is competent working on stacks
n
n
Understands basic plumbing principles and installations
n
n
Wants to transition from predominantly construction work into maintenance
n
n
Is keen to become highly competent in sewer and stormwater drainage
n
n
Is willing to learn CCTV, jetting and pipe relining
n
n
Is comfortable dealing with customers and working in occupied properties
n
n
Has a strong work ethic and takes pride in their work
n
n
Can work both independently and as part of a team
n
n
Is reliable, organised and willing to take responsibility
n
n
Holds a valid manual NSW driver licence
n
n
Has reliable transport to and from our Strathfield South premises
n
n
Previous drainage or maintenance experience is beneficial, but
not essential
. We're more interested in finding someone with good plumbing fundamentals and the right attitude to learn.
