Working within a complex enterprise environment, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful coordination and deployment of technology releases across a portfolio of strategic programs.Your new role As the Release Coordinator, you will lead release coordination activities across multiple infrastructure projects, ensuring high-quality and reliable technology changes are successfully delivered into production.
Working closely with project teams, technical specialists, vendors, and business stakeholders, you will own release management activities from planning through to deployment execution.
Your responsibilities will include:Coordinating and overseeing release and deployment activities across multiple projects.Developing detailed deployment plans, run sheets, schedules, risk assessments and contingency plans.Managing change governance processes and ensuring releases comply with established procedures.Presenting proposed changes to change advisory boards and key governance forums.Monitoring deployment activities and ensuring successful execution within agreed timeframes.Managing release-related risks, issues and escalations.Building strong relationships with project teams,



technical support teams and service providers.Facilitating meetings and providing stakeholder communications regarding release status and progress.Identifying opportunities to improve release management and deployment processesWhat you'll need to succeed Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Project Delivery, Release Management or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.Proven experience coordinating releases and deployments within complex ICT infrastructure environments.Strong knowledge of change management frameworks, governance processes and release methodologies.Experience developing deployment plans and managing release schedules across multiple projects.Proficiency with Jira and Confluence.Solid stakeholder engagement, communication and facilitation skills.Experience identifying, managing and mitigating deployment risks.Previous experience working within large, complex organisations, with public sector experience highly regarded.What you'll get in return Initial 12-month contract with potential extension.Brisbane CBD location.Opportunity to contribute to large-scale technology and infrastructure programs.Collaborative and supportive project delivery environment.Exposure to enterprise-level ICT transformation initiativesWhat you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
