The roleAs a hands on Security Engineer, you will play a key role in the day‐to‐day operation and improvement of our security capabilities.
You will be hands‐on with detection engineering, cloud and identity security, incident response, and automation, while developing deeper expertise in security architecture over time through mentoring and real‐world design decisions.This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys ownership, continuous improvement, and solving real security problems in a Microsoft‐centric environment.What you'll be doingSecurity Operations and Detection EngineeringConfigure, tune, and continuously improve SIEM components including integrations, detections, alerts, and dashboardsPartner with Security Operations to investigate and respond to alerts and incidents, providing escalation support and driving post‐incident improvementsMaintain and improve endpoint security posture using EDR technologiesCloud and Identity SecurityDesign and implement security controls across Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, including Conditional Access and Defender for Office 365Contribute to identity and access management improvements aligned with security best practicesMonitor and enhance Azure security services and logging using Azure Monitor and KQLSecurity Uplift and Continuous ImprovementDeliver security uplift initiatives in partnership with the Security Engineering ManagerSupport security risk assessments and vulnerability management activitiesDevelop and maintain security documentation, incident playbooks, and response proceduresUse PowerShell and automation to streamline security operations and incident response workflowsIncident Response and On‐CallParticipate in a shared on‐call rotation for security incidents,
