As a Business Analyst Intern you'll work directly with stakeholders and project teams to translate business needs into actionable requirements, help deliver analytical insights, and support solution delivery in office in Australia.Role & ResponsibilitiesPartner with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate functional requirements and user stories for small-to-medium projects.Analyze datasets using SQL and Excel to produce clear, actionable reports and dashboards that inform decisions.Create data visualisations and presentation-ready materials (Power BI/Tableau or Excel) for stakeholders and project sponsors.Support testing activities: prepare test cases, perform data validation, and track defects until resolution.Collaborate within Agile teams—participate in stand-ups, sprint planning,



and retrospective activities.Maintain clear documentation (process flows, business rules, requirement traceability) and handover artifacts for implementation teams.Skills & QualificationsMust-HaveEnrolled in or recently completed a bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, IT, Data Analytics, Finance, or related field.Hands-on proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, formulas) and basic SQL query skills for extracting and analysing data.Strong written and verbal communication with experience presenting findings to peers or academic groups.PreferredFamiliarity with Power BI or Tableau and basic dashboard-building experience.Exposure to Agile delivery, user-story writing, or requirements-management tools (Jira, Confluence).
