We are working with a leading real estate assets company undergoing significant growth across Australia and the broader region.
Due to increased transaction activity and internal bandwidth constraints, they are seeking an experienced Property Lawyer to join their in-house legal team on a short-term contract (approx 6 months).
This is a high-impact role where you'll step straight into live deals and work closely with senior stakeholders across the business.The RoleReporting into the General Counsel, you will support a broad range of property and commercial matters across multiple funds and assets, including:Acquisitions and divestments of property assetsDevelopment work, including building contracts and Agreements for LeaseLeasing and asset management for stabilised assetsGeneral commercial contracting and advisory across the businessYou will also work closely with external counsel, managing workflows, timelines and legal spend to ensure efficient delivery across transactions.Key ResponsibilitiesRunning transactions (with appropriate supervision) from end-to-endPartnering with internal stakeholders across development, capital transactions and asset managementManaging and coordinating external law firmsProviding clear,
commercial and pragmatic legal adviceSupporting multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentAbout YouMinimum 4+ years' PQE in commercial property / real estate lawExperience from a top-tier, mid-tier firm or in-house environmentStrong exposure to property transactions, development and leasingCommercially minded, hands-on and solutions focusedAble to hit the ground running and manage competing prioritiesConfident engaging with senior stakeholders across the businessWhy This Role?
