This is a highly influential opportunity within a leading resort team and offers the chance to take the next step in your financial leadership career.Job DescriptionAs Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal leadership position within the hotel, partnering closely with the General Manager and leadership team to influence commercial outcomes and shape financial decision-making across the property.
Your expertise will help steer performance in a complex, high-volume resort environment where no two days are the same.Beyond financial stewardship, you will play a key part in enabling the future of the resort — supporting major CAPEX investment, refurbishment programs and property enhancements that continue to elevate the guest experience and long-term performance of the business.
You will bring clarity, structure and insight to ensure every investment decision is commercially sound and strategically aligned.In addition, you will lead and inspire the finance team, building capability, driving accountability and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Your influence will extend well beyond finance, directly shaping how the hotel performs, evolves and grows.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all financial reporting, budgeting,
forecasting and statutory compliance across the resortProvide accurate and timely financial analysis to support strategic and operational decision-makingPartner with senior leadership to drive commercial performance and financial outcomesSupport CAPEX planning, refurbishment projects and capital investment initiativesOversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and cash management functionsLead, mentor and develop the finance team, fostering accuracy and accountabilityIdentify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls and operational efficiencyQualificationsTertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or Commerce or equivalentProven experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance role, ideally within hospitality or complex operationsStrong understanding of financial reporting, compliance and statutory requirementsExperience in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysisExposure to CAPEX, refurbishment or asset improvement projects highly regardedStrong leadership capability with experience developing and managing a teamExperience with hospitality systems advantageousStrong commercial mindset with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilityA current National Police Check or willingness to obtain one Additional InformationWhy work for Accor?
