Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of food items as directed by the chef
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and food preparation areas
Wash, peel, and chop vegetables and fruits as required
Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishes to ensure hygiene standards are met
Support the kitchen team during busy service periods
Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
Qualifications:
No formal education required; however, a passion for food and cooking is advantageous
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential
