Based in Brisbane, this role offers exposure to overseas operations and stakeholders, making it ideal for someone looking to build a career in global finance.
This position would suit a Big 4 / audit trained candidate or someone with a strong technical accounting foundation looking to transition into a commercially focused role.
Your new roleReporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting financial reporting, analysis and compliance across international business units.Key responsibilities include:
Supporting the monthly reporting cycle, including detailed reviews of overseas entities
Partnering with international finance teams to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
Assisting with audit and tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions
Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
Providing in-depth financial and business analysis to stakeholders
Contributing to systems, controls and process improvements across the region
What you'll need to succeed
Degree qualified in Accounting or Finance
CA/CPA qualified (or working towards)
3+ years' experience, ideally from a Big 4 / audit background or similar technical environment
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Advanced Excel capability
Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders
Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset
Fluent Mandarin (essential) for engagement with regional stakeholders
