Our client is a well-established business servicing the construction, industrial and infrastructure sectors across the Northern Territory.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking a driven and hands-on Business Operations & Sales Manager to oversee day-to-day operations while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, building strong client relationships, and playing a key role in the ongoing success and growth of a business.About the RoleReporting directly to senior leadership, you will take ownership of operational activities while driving sales growth and strengthening the company's market presence.Your responsibilities will include:
Managing day-to-day business operations
Overseeing invoicing processes and month-end reporting activities
Liaising with internal accounts and finance teams
Monitoring and managing stock control processes
Building and maintaining solid relationships with existing and prospective customers
Identifying new business opportunities and converting leads into sales
Developing and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline




Supporting local marketing and promotional initiatives
Working closely with customers to deliver tailored product solutions for projects
Preparing business performance reports and providing updates to senior management
Contributing to strategic growth initiatives and operational improvements
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will possess:
Previous experience in business operations, business management, sales, or a similar leadership role
Strong commercial acumen and a proven ability to drive business growth
Experience managing budgets, business performance and operational activities
Knowledge of MYOB or similar accounting systems
Previous experience within construction, industrial, manufacturing, trade or related sectors will be highly regarded
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of outcomes
A proactive, ambitious and entrepreneurial mindset
A current unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence
