Sunshine Mitre 10 Bundaberg is looking for a motivated team member to join our Trade team.
This role is about supporting our in-store Trade Team and our Trade Account Managers who are out on the road looking after builders and customers across the Bundaberg region.
You'll be dealing with customer orders, preparing quotes, checking, and ordering stock, answering phone and email enquiries and working closely with our Trade Account Managers to make sure their customers' orders are looked after from start to finish.The roleWork closely with the in-store Trade Team and Trade Sales teamsManage orders for builders and trade customers across the Bundaberg regionPrepare and follow up quotesProcess customer orders accurately and efficientlyCheck stock availability and arrange stock ordering where requiredCommunicate with customers by phone and emailFollow up orders and keep customers updated on progressCoordinate with the yard, store, and delivery teamsAssist with customer requirements and ordersHelp resolve customer queries and issuesProvide face-to-face customer service at the trade counter and drive-thru when requiredAbout youExcellent communication skills and confidence dealing with customersPrevious experience in sales, customer service, administration,
or a trade environmentStrong organisational skills and attention to detailAble to manage multiple orders and enquiries at the same timeGood computer skills and comfortable learning new systemsReliable, proactive, and able to work as part of a teamGood problem-solving skills and a practical approach to getting things donePositive attitude and willingness to learn Experience in the building, hardware or timber industry would be an advantage but is not essential.
We will provide training on our products, systems and processes for the right person.
