A well-established specialist practice is looking to add an Employment Lawyer to its Brisbane team.This is a genuinely hands-on role with strong exposure to both advisory and disputes work, offering direct client engagement and the opportunity to build depth across a broad mix of workplace relations matters.You will work closely with experienced practitioners while also having the autonomy to run matters and develop your own client relationships.The OpportunityThis role sits within a busy employment and workplace relations practice supporting a diverse client base.
The work is wide-ranging, practical and commercially focused, with a steady pipeline of matters across both contentious and non-contentious areas.The WorkYou will be involved in:Advising on workplace relations and employment law issuesManaging disputes including unfair dismissal and general protections claimsSupporting and conducting workplace investigationsHandling discrimination, harassment and disciplinary mattersAdvising on compliance, regulatory obligations and riskAssisting with wage compliance and underpayment mattersThe role combines drafting, strategy,
